Job summary

TechInsights is seeking a Data & Analytics Manager in Greenwood Village, CO to lead a team of analysts. You will balance hands-on analytics with people development, define metrics, ensure data governance, and partner with senior leaders to translate business priorities into actionable analytics programs.

You will guide stakeholders, establish standards, oversee data quality, and drive strategic roadmaps, while fostering a culture of accuracy, speed, and repeatable processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BI or analytics, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
• Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools; Tableau Cloud experience required, including Tableau Prep.
• Strong foundation in data prep, ETL/ELT, data engineering concepts, modern data stack tools, and cloud data platforms.
• Advanced understanding of Large Language Models and AI tools, with the ability to guide the team in leveraging these technologies effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior executives.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; understands how analytics initiatives connect to organizational goals.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of collaborative software preferred.
• Passion for data quality, accuracy, and ensuring analytics outputs are usable, actionable, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on complex analytics projects and serve as escalation point for challenging problems.
• Establish and maintain team standards for data quality, documentation, naming conventions, and analytics best practices.
• Lead efforts to define and industrialize corporate metrics and KPIs, ensuring consistency and accuracy across reporting.
• Oversee data reconciliation processes and ensure outputs align with sources of truth.
• Drive data governance initiatives including cataloging, quality metrics, and stewardship practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies; evaluate and recommend new tools and approaches.
• Lead or contribute to high-priority analytics initiatives requiring advanced technical expertise.
• Conduct complex data analyses and provide insights for strategic decisions.
• Serve as subject matter expert in data visualization, BI tools; develop the team’s strategic roadmap.
• Drive initiatives focused on operational excellence, rationalization and automation, and documentation.
• Define and track team success metrics; monitor performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to boost efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts.
