Job summary

TechInsights is seeking a Data & Analytics Manager in Greenwood Village, CO to lead a team of analysts delivering high-impact analytics while promoting data-driven decision-making. You will balance hands-on work with people development and stakeholder management to translate leadership vision into team objectives, upholding our commitment to Impact, Speed, Repeatability, Accuracy, and Reliability.

The role requires 5+ years in BI/analytics with at least 1 year in leadership, strong Tableau Cloud

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in BI/data analytics with leadership experience.
  • Expert proficiency in data visualization and BI tools; Tableau Cloud experience required, including Tableau Prep.
  • Strong foundation in data preparation, ETL/ELT processes, data engineering concepts, modern data stack tools, and cloud data platforms.
  • Advanced understanding of Large Language Models and AI tools, with the ability to guide the team in leveraging these technologies effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior executives.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; understands how analytics initiatives connect to organizational goals.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience establishing team processes, standards, and best practices; committed to operational excellence and documentation.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries without direct authority.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite of collaborative software preferred.
  • Passion for data quality, accuracy, and ensuring analytics outputs are usable, actionable, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance on complex analytics projects and serve as escalation point for challenging problems.
  • Establish and maintain team standards for data quality, documentation, naming conventions, and analytics practices.
  • Lead efforts to define and industrialize corporate metrics and KPIs for consistent reporting.
  • Oversee data reconciliation and ensure outputs align with sources of truth.
  • Drive data governance initiatives including cataloging, quality metrics, and stewardship.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies; evaluate new tools.
  • Lead or contribute to high-priority analytics initiatives requiring advanced expertise.
  • Conduct complex data analyses and provide strategic insights for decisions.
  • Serve as SME in data visualization, analytical methodologies, and BI tools.
  • Develop and execute the team’s strategic roadmap aligned with Data & Analytics mandate.
  • Drive operational excellence, rationalization and documentation improvements.
  • Define and track team success metrics and monitor performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance output quality.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts with performance management.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our Data & Analytics team is committed to transforming data into readable, goal-oriented insights used to advise the company’s leadership when developing strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. We own corporate data, corporate reporting, and ensure data is at the heart of every decision.

As our Data & Analytics Manager, you will lead a team of analysts to deliver high-impact analytics solutions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. You will balance hands-on analytics work with team development, strategic planning, and stakeholder management, translating business priorities and leadership vision into team objectives while championing our commitment to Impact, Speed, Repeatability, Accuracy, and Reliability.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Provide technical guidance and direction on complex analytics projects, serving as an escalation point for challenging technical problems
  • Establish and maintain team standards for data quality, documentation, naming conventions, and analytics best practices
  • Lead efforts to define and industrialize corporate metrics and KPIs, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all reporting
