Job summary

Rent the Runway is seeking a Data Analytics Manager to lead high‑impact analytics initiatives and own key data models that describe customers and the business. You will partner cross‑functionally with business leaders and define KPIs to drive data‑driven decisions, building rich reporting and visualizations to empower leadership.

The role starts as an IC and evolves into people leadership as the team expands, requiring strong analytical judgment and ownership in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on analytics with large data sets in fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; advanced degrees a plus.
• Highly proficient in SQL with optimized queries for big data.
• Experience with data modeling, dimensional modeling, and dbt.
• Experience building dashboards in Looker or similar BI tools.
• Experience with code management and deployment on GitHub.
• Led analytics or reporting projects end-to-end; strong stakeholder communication.
• Ability to communicate with business, data engineers, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic analytics initiatives with cross-functional teams to identify data visibility gaps.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure data availability for objectives.
• Develop scalable, reusable data models powering dashboards, reports, and analyses.
• Design and maintain data pipelines with Data Engineering for accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze key business areas to uncover optimization opportunities and experiments.
• Define and monitor KPIs to influence decisions across RTR.
• Build and maintain Looker dashboards and reports with current insights.
