Job summary

GoEngineer is hiring a Data and Analytics Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role is a player-coach position guiding a four-person Data and Insights team, shaping data strategy, and contributing to data architecture, analytics, and reporting.

You will balance coaching with hands-on work, build a centralized data platform, and drive data quality, governance, and AI-enabled insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI.
• Experience leading or managing a team.
• Ability to balance coaching with execution and strategy.
• Strong BI and data modeling skills; Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and distribute work across a four-person data team.
• Prioritize incoming work and resolve conflicts with the hiring manager.
• Lead data warehousing, ETL/ELT, semantic modeling, and governance.
• Develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Partner with leaders to translate goals into measurable KPIs and insights.
