Job summary

American Commercial Barge Line seeks a Senior Manager of Data Analytics to own and lead the technical direction of the organization’s data platforms. You will oversee a cross-skilled team, drive modernization of the data stack, and partner with IT and business leaders to deliver value through data-driven decisions.

You will balance hands-on credibility with program management, build roadmaps, govern data quality, and translate complex questions into actionable reporting and analytics solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Strong technical proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics and Power BI.
• Experience with SQL and data modeling; knowledge of ETL/ELT design and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring, development, coaching and performance of Data & Analytics team members.
• Guide evolution of the data stack and champion work with IT and business leaders.
• Plan, implement and modernize data architecture and platforms as part of the strategy.
• Ensure data integrity and support reliable business decisions.
• Build and manage project plans, timelines and milestones for data engineering, BI and architecture modernization.
