GoEngineer is seeking a data leader to coach a four-person data team and build a centralized data platform that brings NetSuite, Azure SQL, Power BI and other systems together. You will drive data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and governance while delivering scalable analytics and executive reporting.

The role combines leadership with hands-on contribution, guiding KPI development and insight frameworks for executives and functions across the business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering, analytics, or BI.
• 2+ years leading or managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Coach and distribute work across a four-person data team.
• Prioritize requests and coordinate with the hiring manager to resolve conflicts.
• Balance leadership with hands-on coaching and contribution.
• Build a centralized data platform integrating NetSuite, Azure SQL, Power BI and other systems.
• Lead data warehousing, ETL/ELT, semantic modeling, and governance.
• Establish data quality, lineage, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.
• Guide the development of Power BI models, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Partner with executives to translate goals into KPIs and insights.
• Champion data accessibility and data literacy across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging tech and apply AI to accelerate insights.
