Job summary

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis is offering a 10-week Data Analytics Internship in Indianapolis. You will gain hands-on experience building Power BI reports, analyzing data sources, and collaborating across departments.

You''ll work with SQL, Oracle, and Dynamics 365, contribute to data governance, and develop professional skills in a supportive, inclusive environment with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) during June to August.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
• Have completed at least their sophomore year of undergraduate studies.
• Majoring in Business Administration, MIS, Data Analytics, CS, or related fields.
• Basic experience or coursework with Power BI or other data visualization tools, including DAX and Power Query.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Experience with SQL, Microsoft Azure, and Fabric is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from SQL, Oracle, and Dynamics 365.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver visualizations.
• Perform data validation and troubleshoot reports.
• Document processes and contribute to governance best practices.
• Develop technical skills in SQL and Power BI.
• Contribute to meaningful projects aligned with your field of study.
• Gain exposure to finance and banking industry.
• Participate in team-building, group project, and professional sessions.
