Job summary

Acuity, a leading employer in the insurance analytics space, is seeking motivated undergraduates enrolled in mathematics or actuarial science for an internship position in Wisconsin. You will conduct research, collect data, and support analysis under guidance.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and learning actuarial techniques and company procedures. In-person interviews will be conducted; Acuity provides generous benefits during internship including 401(k) contribution and vision

EDUCATION:

Currently enrolled in a formal University undergraduate degree program pursuing mathematics, actuarial science, or related field, and possessing high level of achievement, including academic grades.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous responsibilities demonstrating goal-orientated outcomes and teamwork.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Proven mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and on a team.

Ability and desire to learn various actuarial techniques and procedures.

Ability and desire to become familiar with company operations, actuarial methodologies and computer systems.
