Acuity, a mutual insurance company in Wisconsin, is seeking an Actuarial Intern to support rate change procedures, prepare reports, and enhance actuarial processes. Summer 2027 start; hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
You will research data, summarize findings, and collaborate with the Actuarial Department on analytical projects in a dynamic insurance environment. This internship offers foundational business knowledge and exposure to actuarial practices.
Acuity is seeking an Actuarial Intern to support a variety of rate change procedures, prepare reports, and enhance existing processes within the Actuarial Department. This internship provides an opportunity to develop fundamental business knowledge and actuarial skills while gaining hands‑on experience in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will contribute to key departmental initiatives, collaborate with team members on analytical projects, and build a strong foundation in actuarial practices within a dynamic insurance environment.
Start Date: Summer 2027
Currently enrolled in a formal University undergraduate degree program pursuing mathematics or actuarial science and possessing high level of achievement, including academic grades.
Previous responsibilities demonstrating goal-orientated outcomes and teamwork. Progress toward completion of an Actuarial exam.
