Job summary

Acuity Insurance seeks a Data Analytics Intern to support data analytics insights and visualization using mathematical models, algorithms, machine learning techniques, and data analytics platforms at our headquarters in Sheboygan, WI.

Starting Summer 2027, the intern will conduct research, summarize findings, collaborate with teams, and adhere to departmental standards while gaining exposure to actuarial methodologies and company operations in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in mathematics or actuarial science or related field.
• Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities with ability to communicate results clearly.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Conduct appropriate research and data collection.


• Summarize analysis and findings with accuracy and proper level of detail.


• Work with others to develop best solutions and accomplish goals.

EDUCATION

Currently enrolled in a formal University undergraduate degree program pursuing mathematics, actuarial science, or related field, and possessing high level of achievement, including academic grades.

EXPERIENCE

Previous responsibilities demonstrating goal-orientated outcomes and teamwork.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.


• Proven mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
