Job summary

Moody's Investors Service in Charlotte seeks Data Analyst Interns to support the Cloud & Network Infrastructure team. You will work with DataMart, NetBox, ServiceNow CMDB, and LogicMonitor to help achieve complete data integrity across infrastructure.

The 10‑week summer program is full‑time, featuring mentorship, networking, and hands‑on projects. For US roles, anticipated hourly rate is $35, with compensation based on experience and location.

Qualifications

Pursuing a STEM degree in a quantitative field such as Data Analytics, CS, IS, Statistics, Math, or Engineering.
Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
Availability for internship dates: June 7 – August 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

Document data structures and publish schemas, field definitions, and relationships for infrastructure and asset data across teams.
Map data feeds between DataMart, NetBox, ServiceNow CMDB, and LogicMonitor and document data capture, transformation, and synchronization.
Perform data reconciliation across systems to compare values, highlight discrepancies, and prevent drift between sources.
Collect, clean, and analyze infrastructure and asset data to fix data quality issues and support complete data integrity.
Build and maintain dashboards/reports tracking metrics like performance, vulnerabilities, connectivity, and cost.
Gather reporting requirements and translate raw data into clear, actionable insights.
Present findings to team members and stakeholders in a concise manner.
Create or enhance standards and procedures for repeatable data processes across the team.
Support ad hoc data requests and special projects as needed.
