Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Business Insights Intern to join its Data & Analytics community for a 10-week summer program. You will be paired with a host team to support performance analysis, customer behavior research, and strategy-driven insights.

Interns collaborate on a cross-functional project, work across Columbus, OH, Johnston, RI, or Boston, MA, and contribute to dashboards, visuals, and executive-ready presentations for senior management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field as listed.
• Expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 and experience with raw and prepared datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business data to uncover patterns in customer behavior and operational performance.
• Interpret findings in the context of real-world impact—how insights affect customers and the business.
• Measure the impact of new products and services post-release and identify drivers of variance.
• Assist in developing insights that inform strategy and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to presentations for senior management with strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine questions and ensure insights are actionable.
• Develop and interpret dashboards and visualizations aligned with business goals.
• Present findings and recommendations to peers and leaders in a capstone presentation.
