Job summary

MSD Malaysia is seeking an intern for its Future Talent Program to work on data-driven projects within the Animal Health NORAM Insights Team. The 10-week internship offers experience in analytics, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Marketing in the US and globally.

The role emphasizes learning SQL, Excel, Dataiku, and PowerBI, with opportunities to develop dashboards, models, and insights for senior leadership while supporting product and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be enrolled as a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
• Candidate must have proficiency in Microsoft Office with Intermediate to Advanced skill in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Enable Sales and Marketing to make data-driven decisions to run the business daily.
• Own the relationship with cross-functional team members across multiple levels of the organization, both within the US market and globally.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to business stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Learn best practices in leveraging tools and systems, including SQL, Excel, Dataiku, and PowerBI.
