Job summary

MSD Malaysia offers a Future Talent Program internship lasting up to 12 weeks in our Research and Development Division. You will work on projects in discovery bioanalytics, applying data analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling to accelerate drug discovery timelines.

The intern will help improve efficiency, speed, and data-driven decision making within discovery bioanalytical workflows by analyzing historical data, developing predictive models, and building a recommendation framework

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Chemical/Biological/Biomedical, or Computational Engineering.
Strong foundation in data analysis and problem solving is expected.
Interest in applied AI/ML, predictive modeling, or data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Source historical compound and analytical method data related to chemical properties and LC.
Develop a predictive machine learning model to serve as a recommendation framework.
Collaborate with bioanalytical scientists to evaluate the model's predictive accuracy.
Expand the model to address additional method development parameters to streamline workflows.
