Job summary

Protective is offering a Business Analytics Summer Internship at its Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL. You will work with senior analysts on real projects, gain hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and BI tools, and learn to turn data into actionable insights. The program runs for 8 weeks with mentoring and exposure to leadership.

Qualifications

Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
Experience with BI tools is a plus.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior analysts to work through specific projects.
Assist in building dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Support ongoing analytics projects and contribute to process improvements.
Participate in team meetings and provide input on data-driven decisions.
Learn and apply business intelligence tools and techniques.
Document findings and share insights with manager.
