Job summary

PGIM, the global asset management arm of Prudential, seeks an Analyst/Associate in Data Analytics & Governance to join the Real Estate team. You will help deliver trusted data products and implement governance across the investment lifecycle, working with stakeholders, data stewards, and Technology partners.

This hybrid role is based in Newark, NJ or New York, NY, offering collaboration on data lineage, quality rules, and AI-use case testing within a modern AI-enabled data environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, finance, economics, real estate, data/analytics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, data governance, data quality or reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel; hands-on with Power BI or Microsoft Fabric and semantic models.
• Familiarity with data governance concepts, data catalogs, business glossaries, data lineage and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with business stakeholders and define questions, users, definitions, calculations and acceptance criteria for new data products and reports.
• Trace data lineage for data products from source systems to outputs, documenting gaps and conflicting definitions.
• Build and maintain datasets and reports using SQL, Power BI/Fabric and Excel from multiple sources.
• Validate data by comparing against source/historical data and investigate variances and anomalies.
• Prepare test cases, support testing, and track issues to resolution for new data products.
• Convert recurring ad-hoc requests into reusable datasets and self-service reports.
• Prepare and normalize data sets for reporting and create data dictionaries and training materials.
• Support governance processes, including change management for definitions and datasets, data access requests and handling of sensitive data.
