Midwest Railcar seeks an Data Analytics Engineer to build and maintain scalable data infrastructure, including data models, ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake using dbt. You will drive data quality, governance, and documentation to enable reliable analytics across the business.

You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, optimize performance, and contribute to a culture of data-driven decision making. Strong SQL, modeling, and Python skills are essential, with 2–4 years of relevant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.
• 2-4 years in analytics engineering or data engineering.
• Advanced ANSI-SQL proficiency for querying and transforming data.
• Snowflake architecture and best practices knowledge.
• dbt proficiency for managing data transformations.
• Strong data modeling skills for analytics datasets.
• Good communication and collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage data models and ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake using dbt.
• Create conform and analytics layers for standardized data consumption.
• Develop dimensional models and data marts tailored to business needs.
• Implement data quality, integrity, and performance monitoring.
