Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to build and support enterprise reporting with Oracle Analytics Cloud and Budget formulation software. You will turn complex budget, financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights and connect data systems with business leaders to drive smart decisions for SMX and our DoW clients.

Responsibilities include developing dashboards, maintaining budgeting data models and pipelines, troubleshooting data flows, and collaborating with budget

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• Strong Excel and O365 proficiency.
• Experience with OBIEE/Oracle Analytics Server or similar tools.
• 5+ years of systems development with Agile.
• Excellent stakeholder management throughout SDLC.
• Strong presentation and technical writing via process mapping.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy interactive dashboards using Oracle Analytics Cloud.
• Maintain budget formulation databases, planning apps, and data pipelines.
• Fix data flow issues and reporting discrepancies quickly.
• Collaborate with budget and operations teams to translate data needs into solutions.
• Ensure data quality through validation checks.
