Job summary

SMX is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer to join our Solutions team. You will design, build, and implement robust budget planning and reporting solutions for federal government clients while collaborating with both functional and technical SMEs in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.

You will translate business requirements into technical specs, develop complex SAC data models and analytical applications, and implement JavaScript-driven logic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on development with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
• Total 5 years in designing and building Budgeting, Planning & Reporting solutions.
• Expertise in SAC Data Modeling, creating Stories, and Analytical Applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript within the SAC environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into technical specification documents.
• Design, build, test, and deploy SAC solutions including data models, stories, and apps.
• Develop calculations, data actions, and business logic using JavaScript.
• Configure demos and translate requirements into working functionality.
• Participate in testing and defect resolution during implementation.
• Collaborate with solution architect and data integration teams.
