Job summary

Avride is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to transform raw vehicle and telemetry data into clean, reliable datasets for engineers and executives. You will build end-to-end data pipelines and craft dashboards that illuminate performance and insights across teams.

You will own data quality, optimize queries, and collaborate across product, operations, and AI teams while exploring LLM-driven data analysis opportunities. Austin-based role with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Strong Python experience with data libraries (e.g. Pandas, Polars).
• Expert SQL skills with complex joins, window functions and optimization.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines into a data warehouse.
• Hands-on with BI dashboards using Grafana/Tableau/Looker.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestrators like Airflow, Dagster or Prefect.
• Understanding of LLMs and applying them to data problems.

Responsibilities

• Tame raw data streams and build ETL pipelines from vehicle APIs and databases into the data warehouse.
• Write efficient SQL to shape data for analysis and dashboards.
• Create and manage Grafana dashboards to monitor performance and issues.
• Collaborate with other teams to determine data needs and deliver datasets.
• Experiment with internal AI/LLM tools to derive insights and automate analysis.
