Job summary

Guidehouse in Washington, DC, seeks a senior Data Science & Analysis professional to help clients unlock data value, build analytics platforms, and deliver mission-critical insights through dashboards and ML workflows.

You will design and implement ETL pipelines in Python/Databricks, create visualizations with Tableau/Power BI, and collaborate with ISSOs and Agile teams to operationalize data for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Bachelor’s degree
• EIGHT (8) or more years developing large, highly complex, enterprise database systems.
• Experience designing and developing databases with SQL and performing complex queries.
• Experience developing complex data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Experience moving and manipulating data of different types using Python.
• Experience working in cloud-based databases and architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to perform data quality management and integration to ensure usable datasets.
• Experience using Tableau and/or Power BI to visualize large data sets.
• Ability to support on-site and hybrid projects in the DC metro area

Responsibilities

• ETL and data quality analysis using Python, Databricks, in cloud-based databases.
• Develop dashboards using Tableau and Power BI for diverse users with varying technical abilities.
• Partner with ISSOs, system owners, and Agile teams to define data requirements and operationalize dashboards.
• Operate within CI/CD and DevSecOps practices to version experiments and automate data pipelines.
• Communicate findings clearly with visualizations and documentation aligned to stakeholder needs
