Growve is hiring a Data & Analytics Engineer to strengthen the systems behind its data pipeline, integrations and automation, and business intelligence support. This hybrid role in Nashville, TN blends backend engineering for data workflows and reliability with front-facing Power BI reporting assistance for stakeholders. You will also help build the technical foundation for an AI-powered analytics assistant, including development workflows and secure access to cloud services.
What you’ll do
- Support and maintain a cloud-based data pipeline built with Python and Airflow, including enough depth to provide coverage during team absences or high-demand periods.
- Design, build, and maintain workflow automations using iPaaS-style tools (for example, Make) to connect task management, product information, and other business systems through API-driven integrations.
- Contribute to the infrastructure behind an internal AI-powered analytics assistant using a modern IDE (VS Code), Git/GitHub for code management, and CI/CD workflows (such as GitHub Actions), including authentication and secrets management for cloud services.
- Build and maintain integrations that synchronize product and item data across a task management system, a PIM platform, and Microsoft Business Central (ERP), partnering with the ERP team to define and implement required API endpoints.
- Onboard new external data sources (such as manufacturer or supplier feeds) into the reporting environment, including data validation and quality checks before integration.
- Serve as a front-line contact for Power BI and reporting requests, triaging questions, troubleshooting reports and tools, gathering requirements for new capabilities, and implementing straightforward requests directly. For more complex needs, scope and route work to the appropriate teammate.
- Spot opportunities to improve automation and reliability across the data, integration, and reporting stack.
What you bring
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, data processing, and automation.
- Experience with Airflow (or an equivalent orchestration tool) and BigQuery (or an equivalent cloud warehouse), including SQL proficiency.
- Working knowledge of iPaaS/workflow automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, or Workato. Platform familiarity is less important than strong REST API fundamentals, webhooks, and authentication patterns (for example, OAuth and API keys).
- Working knowledge of Power BI, including the ability to build and troubleshoot reports and dashboards.
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to clarify needs, set expectations, and translate requests into technical requirements.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub and CI/CD concepts (including GitHub Actions or similar).
- Comfort with cloud authentication and secrets management practices.
- Strong instincts for data validation and quality assurance, including reconciling and vetting external data.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize across competing requests, learn new tools quickly, and partner effectively with technical and business teams.
