Job summary

Emerson is seeking a university student for a data-focused co-op role in Iowa. You will assist designing test systems, data architecture, and analytics from control processes, and help develop automated data collection and pre-processing routines.

You will collaborate with research and data science teams, support agile efforts to improve AI models, and contribute to reporting, documentation, and stakeholder updates while gaining hands-on experience in a structured co-op program.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related engineering or science field
  • SQL and Python skills and experience
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Junior or Senior Standing
  • C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills
  • Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models
  • Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools

Responsibilities
