Conner Strong & Buckelew in Camden, NJ is seeking an Associate Consultant for the Data Analytics and Underwriting team. You will perform detailed consultative reviews of health and welfare plans for existing clients.

The role supports client-facing teams with analytical services, including cost analyses of medical, pharmacy and stop-loss coverages, and development of budget forecasts. You will manage deadlines, build custom financial models, participate in RFQ/RFP processes, and contribute to

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
3–5 years in broker/consulting analytics, underwriting or consulting.
Strong knowledge of plan design, funding, underwriting, and compliance.
Experience in cost and claim analysis and financial evaluation.
Familiarity with self-insured and fully insured plans for various clients.

Responsabilidades

Review health and welfare plans for existing clients with detailed analysis.
Support consultants with benefits and cost analyses for medical, pharmacy, and stop loss.
Maintain an assigned book of business and meet client deadlines.
Conduct stop-loss RFPs and analyze proposals.
Perform financial analysis of coverages, including design and contributions.
Develop budget forecasts and recommendations for clients.
Present rate recommendations to support RFQ/RFP processes.
Utilize data analytics tools and actuarial modeling to support projects.
Identify process improvements and track industry trends.
