Role Overview

The Data Analytics Consultant combines technical skills and business acumen to create compelling data visualizations and models that meet evolving client needs. Deliver excellent customer service, understand client business questions, and use data to provide insights.

Primary tools include Power BI, Tableau, and Excel, with an emphasis on designing intuitive, visually appealing analytics tools that deliver meaningful insights. Experience with database design, SQL development, and advanced analytics in business contexts is desirable.

Key Duties

1. Partner with clients to understand their business and develop analytics solutions.
2. Gather requirements and collaborate with BI developers to create reports and metrics.
3. Present data stories to communicate the value of solutions.
4. Work with account teams to expand consulting services.

Skills and Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a consulting role.
• Proficiency in report design using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel, with a portfolio to share.
• Strong SQL skills, including T-SQL, DAX, and data modeling.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and think creatively.
• Excellent data visualization design skills.
• Clear, concise communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to set client expectations and communicate proactively.
