Job summary

Smart Synergies, a U.S. Government-focused consultancy, seeks a Data Analyst to transform complex workforce data into actionable analytics, dashboards, and executive reports. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, data engineers, and software developers to deliver insights across multiple organizational levels in a secure facility.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and willingness to travel to customer sites on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data-related field or closely related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in quantitative data analysis and reporting.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Hands-on experience with interactive dashboards using Tableau or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and scripting.
• Excellent communication skills bridging technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leads to uncover requirements, map workflows, align data governance, and explain analytic findings.
• Execute structured research methodologies and analysis frameworks per project guidelines.
• Produce concise analytical briefings and executive-level reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Architect and refine techniques to ingest, harmonize, and model multi-source datasets for analytics.
• Analyze complex data structures to extract meaningful trends and metrics.
• Design dashboards and visual reports using enterprise and open-source tools.
• Synthesize findings into clear briefing decks for non-technical leadership.
• Advise on interpretation, application, and utility of analytical outputs.
