Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Analyst/Data Scientist to support an Intelligence Community client on site at Bolling AFB. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and involves advanced analytics, predictive workforce planning, and producing dashboards for management and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, mathematics, CS, economics, data analytics, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in data or business analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, RShiny, Plotly, or D3.js.
• Experience with data science methods for data architecture, munging, feature engineering, and predictive analytics.
• Self-starter with ability to identify opportunities for improvement through data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced data analytics and predictive workforce planning via web-based capabilities and reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and HR SMEs to understand processes and interpret analytic results.
• Analyze complex datasets and develop techniques to integrate, consolidate and structure data.
• Support data quality maturation and process automation.
• Create informative visualizations and dashboards using open-source and commercial tools.
• Provide regular detailed reporting to management and customers.
• Advise non-technical customers on data products and dashboards.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to code quality through reviews.
