Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Data Analyst to transform operational data into actionable insights that improve productivity, quality, labor utilization, and customer service within a fast-paced distribution environment. You will partner with operations leadership to identify trends, develop reporting, and drive data-informed decisions.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of data analytics experience, strong Excel and BI skills, and the ability to communicate findings to business leaders.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, BI, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
• Experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and root causes.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports using BI tools.
• Monitor key operational metrics such as productivity, quality, throughput, and inventory accuracy.
• Partner with operations managers to support labor planning and capacity forecasting.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business initiatives and improvements.
• Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations for leadership.
• Validate data accuracy across multiple systems.
• Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through statistical analysis.
• Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
