Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Data Analyst Staff to join the Controller’s team. The role focuses on collecting, processing, and analyzing data to deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions and drive performance across multiple functions.

The candidate will design methods to consolidate diverse data sources, build dashboards (Tableau/Power BI), and communicate results at the executive level.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field or 5+ years of related experience in absence of a Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze data to develop immersive stories answering business questions.
• Mine, process, and summarize data; manage QA of data scraping and query databases for stakeholder requests.
• Analyze large datasets and prepare insights in narrative or visual forms, including dashboards.
• Set up and maintain data processes and new analytics capabilities; produce and track KPIs.
• Communicate results cross-functionally and at the executive level; translate findings into business recommendations.

Responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions. Using proven and sound statistical methods, the analyst draws insights from data, and translates those insights into action that drive business results. Data Analysts are extremely resourceful and able to find novel new data sources to enrich their analysis. They apply mathematical and statistical methods to business and risk management problems. Mine, process, and summarize data; Manage the quality assurance of data scraping, query databases for stakeholder requests, and triage data issues for timely resolutions; Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and prepare insights in narrative or visual forms, including dashboards; Set up and maintain data processes and new analytics capabilities; Produce and track key performance indicators; Ability to formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems; Program management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and schedule.

The role of Data Analyst Staff will be a critical part of the Aeronautics Controller’s team as we continue to transform the enterprise. Automation of reporting and analysis will allow greater efficiency and analytics across the business. This role will be tasked to design and develop methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse sources of data across 1LMX, Enterprise Business Operations, and the Controller's group. The individual will be required to utilize tools to accomplish the requested analysis but also understand and communicate how the results of these analyses will impact the larger enterprise. This will require both technical software knowledge as well as the capability to communicate both cross-functionally and atthe executive level. The individual will also be required to make meaningful and well-informedrecommendations on how to transform reporting and analysis across multiple financial functions. The individual will build enduring relationships with our customers and help foster innovation for processes, projects, and reports. This role will require a growth mindset and a willingness to approach complex tasks from many different stakeholders.

Generally, has 5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1):$131100.00 - $243500.00

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $118000.00 - $219100.00

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $104900.00 - $194700.00
