You will collaborate to identify analytics needs, analyze data with standard tools, and assist in reporting, dashboards, and data quality assessments. This position is ideal for those starting a career in data analytics within state government.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of GED.
• Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
• Acceptance into a TWC Internship or TWC Apprenticeship will satisfy the minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data using standard statistical tools, methods and techniques.
• Consult with internal and external customers to identify data analytics needs.
• Interpret results to identify significant differences in data.
• Assist in identifying and interpreting data patterns and trends and assessing data quality.
• Assist with the implementation of databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Assist in preparing technical reports to present and interpret data, identify alternatives and make and justify recommendations on data revisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
