Job summary

Alpha Omega Integration in Washington, DC is seeking a Data Analyst to manage and analyze quantitative data and provide outputs in requested formats.

The role requires a Public Trust – Federal Client clearance and entails SAS, R, and SPSS analysis, data quality checks, and stakeholder reporting.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in generating SAS-based reports using methods such as PROC REPORT, PROC TABULATE and exporting to Excel, PDF and HTML.
• Skill in manipulating and cleaning data using SAS functions, formats/informats, macros, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple data sources to monitor and assess data quality, including accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and interpretation of data using SAS, R, SPSS.
• Enter definitions of variables for survey questionnaires, including variable names, range labels, default values, and question strings.
• Generate data retrievals and summary outputs for stakeholders.
• Support dissemination and reporting of data to stakeholders.
• Write SAS programs to generate surveillance reports.
• Provide routine analysis and interpretation of data, including data entry, coding, and transcription.
• Develop presentation graphics using MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Develop SAS programs for managing and validating data.
• Review SAS outputs and identify issues requiring corrections in data collection.
• Review data error logs to ensure data modifications follow protocol.
• Identify errors/omissions of variable formats or labels.
• Document problems and proposed corrections for finalizing datasets.
• Review data files to document problems and proposed corrections.
• Review the quality of weights as indicated.
• Document problems with SAS programs and proposed corrections.
• Review SAS programs to create analysis variables and compare with validated code.
