Job description

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business and Data Analyst to join our Sales & Marketing Technology organization. In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to the design, development, and ongoing support of data extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes that power critical sales and marketing operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technology partners to ensure data flows reliably, accurately, and on time across our ecosystem of platforms and partners. This is a hands‑on technical role that requires both analytical rigor and a deep understanding of relational database environments. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in operational excellence, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings a proactive mindset to production support and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Primary responsibilities will span three interconnected areas: data pipeline development and management, production support, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes that extract data from source systems, apply necessary business logic and transformations, and load outputs to downstream consumers in a reliable and scalable manner.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries within Snowflake to support data extraction, validation, and reporting needs.
  • Manage and monitor file‑based data exchanges using SFTP protocols, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data to internal and external partners.
  • Configure and maintain Snowflake datashares to facilitate secure, efficient data sharing across organizational boundaries or with third‑party consumers.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for monitoring and resolving issues within established data pipelines and business processes.
  • Investigate root causes of data quality issues, pipeline failures, or processing delays and work swiftly to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of processes, data flows, and resolution steps to support knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and data solutions.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to understand their data needs and deliver timely, accurate data products.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions, sprint planning, and cross‑functional project teams as needed.

Educational Requirements: University (Degree)

Preferred Work Experience 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred

Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Work Career Level 6IC Required Qualifications 2+yrs of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or closely related role with a strong technical focus.

Preferred Qualifications Experience developing and maintaining ETL or data pipeline processes is required, along with a proven ability to support and troubleshoot production data environments with a sense of urgency and accountability. Hands‑on experience working with Snowflake or comparable relational database platforms is essential, including demonstrated proficiency writing complex SQL queries involving joins, aggregations, window functions, and performance tuning. Experience working with SFTP‑based file transfer workflows, including familiarity with scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting file exchanges with internal and external partners. Experience configuring or consuming Snowflake datashares is also highly preferred, as is familiarity with sales or marketing data domains such as CRM data, lead management, campaign analytics, or customer segmentation. Prior exposure to agile delivery methodologies and comfort working within a sprint‑based team environment would be a meaningful advantage. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, combined with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences, are also expected.
