Clarium is looking for a Data Analyst to turn raw data into decisions. You'll partner with teams across the business to answer tough questions, building the queries, models, and dashboards that show what's actually happening and why.

This role is a good fit for someone who can write complex SQL, clean messy data in Python, and explain results to non-technical stakeholders without jargon. The position is fully remote with a NYC coworking option and a strong base salary plus equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics, data, or BI
• Strong SQL with joins, window functions, CTEs, and large tables
• Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake preferred)
• Git for version control and collaboration
• Ability to scope analyses from vague questions
• Track record of dashboards and reporting used by others
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL to extract, join, and aggregate data across large relational datasets
• Use Python to clean, transform, and analyze data that doesn't fit neatly into a query
• Independently explore datasets to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports
• Partner with product and customer success to scope ambiguous questions
• Investigate data quality issues and work with engineering to resolve them
• Document data definitions, metrics, and methodology for reproducibility
• Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
