Job summary

Geneva Trading, a premier global principal trading firm, seeks a Data Analyst for the Mid/Back Office Tech Team in Chicago. You will design and implement Qlik Sense dashboards, perform data load transformations, and build backend services supporting the full trade lifecycle to ensure seamless data flow from front-office systems to middle and back-office platforms.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science or another STEM-related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer.
• Strong programming and data-querying skills with advanced SQL and at least one general-purpose language.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, data quality, and performance optimization.
• Experience developing BI dashboards and reports using a modern visualization platform.
• Familiarity with end-to-end SDLC from version control to production support.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
• Ability to plan and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead Qlik Sense dashboard design, development, and data load transformations for middle/back-office groups.
• Own audit trail reporting, including management and reconciliation of daily reports to third parties.
• Develop and maintain backend services supporting the full trade lifecycle and data flow between front-office and back-office systems.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and observability through testing, monitoring, and automation.
