Job summary

CTG is seeking a Data Analyst for a 6-month engagement in Anchorage, AK. The role focuses on identifying reporting requirements, recreating legacy reports, and delivering dashboards to meet business and operational needs.

You will work with SSRS, Datamart, Exago, and Power BI to build robust reporting solutions and validate data across enterprise systems. Responsibilities include data dictionary maintenance, scheduled report distribution, and ensuring reports pass UAT before production

Qualifications

• Experience with SSRS, Datamart reporting, Exago, and/or Power BI.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards from enterprise application data.
• Experience working with relational data, including tables, joins, filters, and reporting logic.
• Experience validating and troubleshooting data and reporting outputs.
• Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications or reporting environments preferred.
• AMCS Platform experience or solid waste industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify reporting requirements with Project Manager and business users and recreate legacy reports in the new application environment.
• Develop and publish reports and dashboards to support business and operational reporting needs.
• Develop reporting solutions using SSRS, Datamart, and related reporting tools.
• Apply appropriate filters, calculations, and data logic to reporting outputs.
• Validate data access, table relationships, and joins with technical team members.
• Develop and maintain a data dictionary to support ongoing system knowledge and reporting.
• Configure scheduled report distribution and data exports as required.
• Validate reports and dashboards prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Publish approved reporting solutions to production following UAT acceptance.
• Support operational, customer service, financial, and management reporting requirements.
