Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Data Analytics professional to analyze data, workflows, and processes to design and implement software solutions supporting pharmacy operations.

The role requires 3+ years in informatics or related fields, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and experience with Snowflake, Python, and SQL. The position is primarily remote with a 40-hour workweek.

Pay Range:

$33.05 - $49.60

Major Responsibilities:

• Analyze data, workflows, and processes to design and implement software solutions
• Identify, map, measure, and improve clinical and workflow processes
• Perform workflow analysis and prepare documentation using modeling techniques
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user manuals
• Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications
• Configure and test systems to meet requirements
• Develop and execute test plans, conduct various testing phases, and document outcomes
• Create and deliver end-user training modules, evaluate training effectiveness, and assist users
• Communicate project status, manage application version upgrades, and ensure project timelines are met
• Collaborate with technical staff and clients to implement procedures and applications
• Consult with providers and leadership to resolve issues related to equipment and applications

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

Based on Pharmacy Automation as area of support;Registration or licensure with state board of pharmacy per state of employment requirementsCertification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or National Healthcareer Association (ExCPT)

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree in related field such as computer science, applied stats, applied math, or data science or equivalent knowledge

Experience Required:

Typically requires 3 years' experience in related fields of informatics, data science, computer science, statistics, business analytics. Preferred experience: Data modeling, data pipeline creation, Snowflake Cloud Engineering, Python for scripting, workflow automation, mastery of SQL

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Experience in using applications, operating systems and databases to include the basic hardware, platform, connectivity, and interface knowledgeProject management experience with ability to use project management softwareAbility to work with a minimal amount of supervision, to balance multiple tasks, be detail oriented, set priorities and accomplish assignments in a timely manner utilizing excellent customer service skillsOrganizational and analytical skills. Strong problem and issue resolution skills.Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work closely with health care application users, vendors, and technical professionals.Demonstrated ability to translate user requirements into system specifications. Exposed to various conditions throughout the workday such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs and changes in temperature and humidity.Operates all equipment necessary to perform the jobFlexibility to travel between pharmacy locations
