Job description

As a Top Secret Data Analyst for this program, you will be working in an organization whose mission is to develop and operate the best possible software for critical national security enterprise applications. This organization leverages SCRUM and SAFe Agile software development methodologies and strong DevOps practices.

You will be responsible for performing analysis on relevant information from a variety of sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries, and replies to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting of the information provided. You will manage the compilation, cataloging, caching, distribution, and retrieval of data. You will participate in ad hoc data projects and analyses that produce actionable recommendations and insights for internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will collect data and generate basic reports in response to client inquiries. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders to understand client requirements and support the development of analytical solutions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform analysis on relevant information from various sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries, and replies to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting.
  2. Manage the compilation, cataloging, caching, distribution, and retrieval of data.
  3. Participate in ad hoc data projects and analyses that produce actionable insights for stakeholders.
  4. Collect data and generate basic reports responding to client inquiries.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand client needs and develop analytical solutions.
  6. Accurately enter data into databases, documents, or spreadsheets.
  7. Apply expertise to multiple complex work assignments, demonstrating originality and innovation.
  8. Operate with latitude in developing methodologies and presenting solutions.
  9. Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics as applicable.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is recommended. In the absence of experience, certifications or prior work may demonstrate the required level of expertise.

A typical day in this program involves:
  • Providing Help Desk support for escalated tickets.
  • Optimizing the workplace through administrative and logistical support.
  • Performing budgetary data analysis.
  • Leveraging Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, and PowerBI.

This position is contingent upon award and requires on-site work in Washington, DC at the customer facility.

Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, including 3 years of related technical specialized experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. In absence of a degree, additional years of experience may substitute.
Preferred:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience with PowerBI.
