Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Data Analyst IV to support the Office of Forensic Services and Coordination (OFSC). You will maintain and improve reporting, dashboards, and analytics across the forensic service continuum, automate workflows, and enhance data extraction and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree is required; other disciplines considered with relevant coursework/experience.
• Experience in data analytics, reporting, and statistical analysis across large datasets.
• Ability to develop SQL queries, dashboards and data visualizations for leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and support reporting products, dashboards, and analytics.
• Identify opportunities to automate reports and data collection activities.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and reporting logic.
• Support data requests from HSCS leadership and staff with compliant data delivery.
• Collaborate with data partners to improve data quality and reporting capabilities.
• Support policy research and evaluations and maintain documentation of reports and datasets.
