Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Data Analyst IV to support the Forensic Services data continuum. You will maintain and enhance reporting products, develop dashboards, and enable data-informed decision-making across the program.

Responsibilities include data automation, workflow optimization, and collaboration with program staff and leadership. Strong SQL, Tableau, and Excel skills are essential, along with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• A bachelors, masters or doctoral degree in data science, CS, business analytics, public administration, IT or mathematics.
• Demonstrated experience in data analytics and research, with expertise in statistical modeling.
• Experience in managing complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, enhances, and supports data reporting, dashboards and analytical tools.
• Identifies opportunities to automate recurring reports and data collection activities.
• Develops, maintains, and optimizes SQL queries and reporting logic.
