Golden Pet Brands is building an omni-channel distribution network for pet products, and your work as a Data Analyst II will help turn operational, inventory, and logistics data into practical insights for faster decisions. This onsite role in Chatsworth Lake Manor, CA supports fulfillment performance, transportation efficiency, inventory accuracy, and retailer compliance through reporting, analytics, and cross-functional problem-solving.

What you’ll do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports that track fulfillment, transportation, inventory, retailer compliance, delivery performance, cost, and distribution center capacity.
• Analyze operational and transportation performance data to identify gaps, quantify and prioritize improvement opportunities, and conduct root-cause analysis to recommend actionable solutions.
• Support inventory planning, replenishment, capacity planning, and demand analysis, including resolving inventory discrepancies in partnership with Sales Operations and other stakeholders.
• Validate and troubleshoot data across systems including ERP, warehouse management, and reporting tools to ensure information is accurate, consistent, and reliable.
• Coordinate with distribution centers, supply chain teams, vendors, and transportation providers to plan, schedule, and track inbound, outbound, and transfer shipments.
• Optimize shipping schedules and load consolidation to improve vehicle utilization, reduce empty miles, control costs, and support on-time delivery.
• Partner with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales Operations to implement process improvements and present findings and performance trends to management.
• Review shipment materials prior to distribution, and collaborate with transportation and supply chain teams to support timely pickups and expedited shipments.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Strong focus on reporting accuracy and timeliness, including fulfillment operations KPIs, freight cost performance, retailer compliance scores, and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement in cost and performance through process improvement recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and data visualization.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (partial list provided).
