Job summary

Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan, NY, seeks a Data Analyst II to advance data integrity and analytics for clinical data including EHR-driven insights. You will join a team of data scientists, clinicians, and IT staff to develop reports and models that inform care strategies.

Responsibilities include building robust data pipelines, validating data across systems, and producing analyses that support a new model of care. Strong Python/R, NLP, and ML skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, statistics and/or related field; Masters preferred.
• 3+ years of analytics experience including report development and database application/management experience, preferably in a large medical center or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Define data reporting needs with clinical and administrative staff.
• Develop analytic reports easily understandable by clinical staff.
• Use modeling techniques to analyze data structure and requirements.
• Maintain data integrity and data processing quality for internal/external clients.
• Collaborate with IT management and staff on data access and retrieval.
• Write manuscripts and materials for internal and external audiences.
• Lead or participate in local and international collaborations.
