Job summary

AXNT is seeking a Data Analyst I in Houston, TX to support business reporting, forecasting, and predictive analysis across sales, inventory, and customer operations. You will build ETL pipelines, develop dashboards, and collaborate with operations and leadership to deliver data-driven recommendations.

The role requires SQL and Python proficiency, experience with BI tools, and strong statistical knowledge. Onsite, full-time, 40 hours/week, USD 20/hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker Studio).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data cleaning.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, Python scripts and ETL pipelines.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and surface trends and anomalies.
• Build dashboards and recurring reports for KPIs (revenue, AOV, retention).
• Develop forecasting and predictive models for demand planning and sales projections.
• Analyze marketing campaigns and live-selling performance; provide data-driven recommendations.
• Design and maintain structured data models and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Share insights via reports, visuals, and presentations.
• Monitor data quality and document data sources and definitions.
