Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Houston to drive data engineering and BI development for safety, production, and cost optimization. You will build data pipelines, automate reports, and partner with field operations to deliver actionable insights.

The role requires 5+ years of technical experience, strong visualization skills (Spotfire/PowerBI), and expertise in ETL with Databricks and Alteryx. This on-site position offers robust benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field plus strong math and computer science background.
5+ years of experience in a technical role.
Advanced data handling skills including data integration and reporting.
Proficient with relational databases and creating complex visualizations.
Experience with Spotfire and PowerBI applications.
Experience with ETL and workflow automation tools (Databricks, Alteryx).
Strong MS Office skills and ability to communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

Develop automated reports, analyses, and KPI visualizations for standard and ad hoc requests.
Build and manage data pipelines across structured and unstructured sources.
Design and implement automated workflows using SQL, Python, Databricks, and Alteryx to ensure data integrity.
Develop ETL processes and maintain integrations across systems.
Collaborate with Field and Engineering to analyze drivers impacting LOE, Capital, and Production.
Produce timely, accurate recurring reports for Permian Operations.
Assist in regulatory, financial, and accounting data compilation and reporting.
Document data analysis and tool usage for reference.
