Job summary

The Talent Analyst at Confidential Jobs transforms HR data into actionable insights, focusing on turnover, retention, and talent acquisition metrics, while building Power BI dashboards and reports that reveal workforce trends and drivers.

You will collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions, deliver scalable reporting, and tell a clear data story for leadership decisions.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modeling, visualization, and DAX.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Experience analyzing HR, talent acquisition, workforce, labor, or people-related data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to translate business questions into meaningful KPIs, dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to present findings to both operational and functional leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Workforce & Talent Analytics: Analyze turnover, retention, hiring, staffing, labor, tenure, and other workforce data to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and opportunities.
  • Talent Acquisition Analytics: Track and analyze recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, hiring volume, applicant flow, source effectiveness, funnel conversion, offer acceptance, and new-hire retention.
  • Power BI & Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide leaders with visibility into key talent and workforce metrics.
  • Business Insights: Connect HR and workforce data with operational and business results to identify potential drivers of performance and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Data Visualization & Storytelling: Present complex data in a clear and compelling way, helping leaders understand not only what is happening, but why it may be happening and where action should be taken.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data quality, and analytical processes while creating scalable and consistent approaches to workforce measurement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, Operations, Finance, and other teams to understand business questions, define reporting needs, and develop data-driven solutions.

Job description

The Talent Analyst is responsible for transforming HR and workforce data into actionable insights that help leaders make informed business decisions. This role will focus on turnover and retention, talent acquisition metrics, labor analytics, and workforce trends, while identifying relationships and correlations across HR data that can help improve business and operational performance.

The Talent Analyst will partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to develop Power BI dashboards, reporting, and analytical solutions that make workforce data accessible, meaningful, and actionable.

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modeling, visualization, and DAX.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Experience analyzing HR, talent acquisition, workforce, labor, or people-related data.

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce, or similar HRIS, ATS, or workforce management systems.
  • Experience analyzing connections between workforce metrics and operational or financial performance.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting, or predictive analytics.
  • Experience partnering with Operations, Finance, HR, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or another high-volume, distributed workforce environment.
  • Worked in a Talent Acquisition or HR Practioner before.

Compensation

$80,000-$85,000.00, based on experience

Schedule Hybrid
