$38.00/hr - $41.00/hr

Job Details

Title: Data Analyst - GIS

Location: NY, NY (Hybrid)

Terms: 12+ months contract

Compensation: $38-$41/hour

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

Job Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and interface with GIS team to understand business needs.
• Report to the GIS Head of Strategic Projects & Architecture.
• Work with GIS team and stakeholders to provide data analysis, reporting, and development to support initiatives within the GIS organization.
• Design, develop, and implement Business Systems.
• Analyze large data sets and evaluate data.
• Generate business knowledge reports.
• Define MIS requirements and needs.
• Evaluate and improve information processes.
• Perform routine data checks.
• Use tools like PowerBI and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate with GIS development, business teams, and stakeholders to implement GIS projects and systems.
• Provide reporting to Technology PMO for project tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Financial Services & Banking organizations.
• Knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, web development, and .NET tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess and communicate project status to senior management.
