Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to drive the end-to-end data lifecycle for a federal program. The role involves automated data engineering, data extraction from PDFs to JSON, and secure handling of PII/CUI in collaboration with operational and federal teams.

You will manage Power Automate workflows, use Python for data parsing, and deliver dashboards in Tableau while maintaining data integrity and cross-system reconciliation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Data Analyst.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders at varied levels.
• Must be able to successfully complete the DHS security and suitability background check.
• Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Proven ability to execute in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Automated Data Engineering & Intake: Pipeline Management for inbox monitoring, PDF staging, and automated record creation.
• Data Transformation: Python-based extraction to JSON with normalized field mapping.
• Quality Assurance: Daily data quality audits and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Clearance & Credentialing Operations: Manage background investigation packets and verify documents.
• Training & Certification Support: Monitor training mailboxes and manage course eligibility.
• PMO Operational Governance: Generate reports in Excel and maintain SOPs/SharePoint for continuity.
