Job summary

Sunrise Group is seeking a Data Analyst to own analytics across Acquisition, Clinical Operations, Revenue, Product and Supply. You will scope questions, deliver analyses, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. You’ll maintain the data model and BI layer, ensuring self-service dashboards for stakeholders across teams.

The role emphasizes data quality, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and improving process efficiency in a fast-growing sleep-health company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst in high-growth or operationally complex environments.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Basic working knowledge of Python.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver actionable insights.
• Strong rigor in drawing conclusions and communicating limitations.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed, asynchronous environment.
• Genuine interest in sleep, health and improving well-being.
• Written and verbal fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Operations and growth analysis: analyze the end-to-end patient funnel and design experiments to measure impact.
• Product analysis: assess patient journey and support prioritization decisions.
• Financial analysis: analyze revenue, margins and reimbursement performance.
• Data modeling: develop and maintain transformation models in PostgreSQL and SQLMesh.
• BI and reporting: build and maintain dashboards enabling self-service.
• Metric documentation: ensure definitions and caveats are recorded.
• Stakeholder collaboration: gather requirements and communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
• Data quality: identify and address data quality issues, validate outputs.
