Yoh is seeking a Data Analyst/Developer in Dallas, TX for a 6 month contract to hire. The role focuses on building interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Python, Azure, ADF, SQL, and Power BI to deliver actionable business insights.

Remote options exist but you must reside in Texas. You will translate requirements, design semantic data models, collaborate with data engineers and analytics teams, drive data-driven decision making, and present executive-level reports.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, programming, analytics or related field.
• 1+ years of Python development skills.
• 5+ years of BI analytics solutions experience.
• 5+ years with ADF, Databricks, SQL, SSRS, Power BI and related BI technologies.
• Experience driving analytics-enabled business process improvements.
• Experience leading small project teams or workstreams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data environments.
• Proven ability to analyze complex cross-functional business problems and deliver solutions.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying analytics and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that communicate business insights effectively.
• Translate business requirements and analytical findings into clear visual representations.
• Develop semantic data models and data access solutions that support analytics and reporting needs.
• Ensure visualization solutions meet both functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Leverage enterprise-standard BI and analytics platforms to deliver scalable reporting solutions.
• Create presentations and executive-level reporting materials as needed.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Apply knowledge of business processes and data domains to identify valuable insights and opportunities.
• Drive stakeholder adoption of data-driven decision making and analytics-enabled business process improvements.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions on dashboards, reports, and visualization tools.
• Partner with Data Engineers, Analytics Teams, and Subject Matter Experts to define data sourcing, transformation, and aggregation requirements.
• Ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in technical designs.
• Participate in proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and recommend analytics solutions and visualization technologies.
• Evaluate emerging visualization tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Create intuitive visual experiences that transform data into meaningful business insights.
• Understand target audiences and tailor visualizations to meet their needs.
• Apply UX, visual design, and information design principles to maximize clarity and impact.
• Simplify complex data into concise, actionable messages.
• Continuously explore innovative ways to communicate insights through data visualization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Programming, Analytics, or a related field.
• 1+ years of Python development skills
• 5+ years of experience developing business intelligence and analytics solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, SQL, SSRS, Power BIand related BI technologies.
• Experience driving analytics-enabled business process improvements and innovation.
• Experience leading small project teams or workstreams.
• Strong understanding of business information systems and enterprise data environments.
• Proven ability to analyze complex cross-functional business problems and develop effective solutions.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying business analytics and reporting solutions.

Estimated Min Rate: $37.80

Estimated Max Rate: $54.00
