Job summary

You will design and build reports and dashboards in Power BI, write SQL queries, and use Python for automation and data validation, while helping improve data quality and governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in investment management, asset management, wealth management, or financial services.
• Hands-on experience working with portfolio holdings, investment transactions, security master data, or investment reporting.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Python for reporting, automation, or data validation.
• Excellent communication skills with experience gathering requirements and partnering directly with business stakeholders.
• Ability to own projects from requirements through delivery.

Compensation: Up to $155,000 base + bonus (total compensation around $180,000)

Our client, a well-established Chicago-based investment management firm, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Data Operations team. This is a highly visible, firmwide role supporting teams across Investments, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Distribution while helping modernize the firm's reporting environment as they transition to the State Street Alpha platform.

What You'll Do
