Job summary

DS Smith seeks a Data Analyst to design, deliver and maintain data pipelines, datasets and analytics aligned with our cloud and digital manufacturing strategy. You will collaborate with data experts, data engineers and PowerBI developers, ensuring high quality data governance and governance practices across the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technology, analytical or business field.
• 3+ years in data analyst, BI developer, or data engineer roles.
• Strong SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation and querying.
• Experience with data pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in manufacturing/supply chain data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards with focus on dataset design, data modeling and report performance.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and DAX expressions for reporting needs.
• Manage PowerBI workspace environments, including access controls and release processes.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform and deliver data to end users.
• Support analytics solutions in the cloud data platform (AWS/Azure) including testing and documentation.
• Maintain data quality across pipelines, troubleshoot and monitor uptime.
